It’s stately old homes and proximity to College Avenue’s top notch shopping district are huge draws to high-end buyers seeking both spacious homes and close community, especially to those looking to relocate from San Francisco. However, Elmwood’s very small geographic area means that the number of available homes does not come close to meeting the demand, and every house on the market creates a frenzy — even those in need of considerable updating.
